<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">In this combo box enter the URL of the document which you want to load. You can enter a new URL or select one that is already registered. <help:productname>%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> automatically converts file paths into URL notation.</help:help-text></p>

<p class="Paragraph">If you want to load a new document with a similar URL to that of the current document, simply edit the URL entry in the combo box and press Enter. <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> helps you by recognizing similar entries as you type and making appropriate suggestions, so that often you only need type parts of the URL. This makes it quick and easy to open a new document, which then replaces the current document.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Press the shortcut keys <help:switch select="System" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="MAC">(Command)</help:case><help:default>(Ctrl)</help:default></help:switch>(Shift)(O) to set the input focus directly to the <span class="T1">Load URL</span> field.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If you have docked the function bar vertically, the <span class="T1">Load URL</span> icon appears instead of the long combo box. Click this icon to obtain the Open dialog.</p>
